| The Missouri Section
American Water Works Association has established a scholarship fund
entitled the J. R. Popalisky Scholarship Fund (JRPSF) for qualified
students enrolled in an accredited college or university in the State of
Missouri. Qualifying curriculum for the scholarship applicants
includes courses related to civil or environmental engineering or
environmental science with emphasis on career fields associated with water
supply. The JRPSF will consider applications for one or more
scholarships per year in the amount of one thousand dollars
($1,000). The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage
enrollment in educational studies related to career fields associated with
water supply. Students may make application for the scholarship by
completing application Forms A, B, & C, 8 pages total (see links below), and
submitting them to the Scholarship Committee at the address shown
below. The deadline for submission of the 2007 scholarship
applications is February 28, 2007. It is anticipated that award of
the scholarship(s) will be made sometime in April 2007. |
