Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Resources and Information for Missouri Water Professionals
The coronavirus disease, COVID-19, is creating an evolving situation with uncertain impacts around the world and across the state of Missouri. We are updating this page regularly with the latest information and resources for Missouri water professionals.
On March 27, 2020 the EPA Administrator, Andrew Wheeler, sent a letter to Governors in all 50 states, territories, and Washington, DC requesting that water and wastewater workers, as well as the manufacturers and suppliers who provide vital services and materials to the water sector, be considered essential workers and businesses by state authorities when enacting restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19. The Missouri section understands that most of our membership is comprised of essential workers and want to make sure you have the best resources available as we face this unprecedented time together.
