Due to the increasing COVID-19 infection rate, employer travel restrictions, and speaker availability, we have been forced to cancel the rescheduled Joint Annual Conference. While the 2020 conference will not be rescheduled, both organizations will continue to offer opportunities to provide member benefits, such as supplementing existing training sessions with virtual training sessions for CEU/PDH credits. We will continue to monitor and plan for the safest way to return to Margaritaville for the 2021 Joint Annual Conference, which will be held March 28-31, 2021.

Please contact Sharon Schreiber ([email protected]) if a receipt is required with the refund.
Refunds will be made in the form that registration was completed (see response #2).
Refunds will be processed in the same manner as described above. Please contact Joel Ogle ([email protected]) for additional information on exhibitor cancellation/refunds.
Unfortunately, we are unable to rollover payments to next year’s conference.
We understand that the conference provides valuable opportunities for our members to obtain PDH and CEUs. As part of annual membership benefits, both MO-AWWA and MWEA will continue to offer PDH and CEUs and training sessions throughout the remainder of 2020. Be on the lookout for future emails and updated training opportunities on our websites (MO-AWWA and MWEA).
Presenters will be notified via email regarding options available. The goal is to provide our members with the ability to join our standard outreach programs through the remainder of 2020. By being able to supplement our traditional outreach programs with additional topics it will offer a great opportunity to enhance continuing education as well as showcase our members' unique projects and experiences. This year’s Presenters will be contacted as needed to provide either onsite or virtual presentations. We are already looking forward to the 2021 technical program and hope all of this year’s presenters will make time to resubmit for next year’s technical program.
Due to State regulations for continuing education credits all papers accepted for the 2020 conference will not automatically be carried over to the 2021 technical program. However, you are encouraged to resubmit your 2020 abstract for next year’s conference. The 2021 Call for Abstracts will provide an option to identify whether your abstract was previously accepted for the 2020 conference in order to give priority to those previously accepted.
Please reach out to John Killips ([email protected]) and Jenny Doyle ([email protected]) for additional information.
Any reservations that were completed using the conference code will automatically be canceled
by Margaritaville. If you did not use the conference code to make your hotel reservation, you
will need to contact Margaritaville directly to cancel your hotel reservation.

We will continue to monitor and plan for the safest way to return to Margaritaville for the 2021 Joint Annual Conference from March 28-31, 2021 and remain committed to seeking new ways to share critical training for our members. We will announce the 2021 Call for Papers in August 2020.
